The Approval Process
After you place your Digital Portrait Painting order, I will be in
contact to discuss the various aspects of your digital portrait painting.
You will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and explain
your wishes regarding the portrait painting. Before I begin the actual
painting you will be presented with an image via email and/or posted on
a password-protected web page for viewing. This image will be your
online pre-proof and will closely represent the future painting. All
crops and retouches will have been performed so you will get a very good
idea of what your painting will look like. This will be the
time to make any adjustments. Once you have approved the proof I will
paint your Digital Portrait and notify you when a final proof of the
completed Portrait Painting is ready for approval. This is the last
stage of the process and no changes or refunds can be made once the
final proof is approved and the portrait is sent to the printer.
Before
printing the Digital Portrait Painting we will happily offer a full
refund if a client is not satisfied with their final proof and wishes to
cancel the order. However, because of the personal and custom nature of
the Portrait Painting, after printing no refunds can be issued.
When
the Digital Portrait Painting is completed and ships, you will be
notified via email of the shipping details.
Any print that
suffers from shipping damage will be replaced once the damaged print is
returned, the packing slip will have instructions for that.
